MT-Energie GmbH is one of the leading producers of complete biogas plants of all sizes as well as special components. The company is located in Zeven, Northern Germany. With the know-how that comes from many years of experience, we are able to offer our clients systems which are both economic to run and highly efficient.

Our service portfolio not only includes the development, planning and construction of biogas plants but also intensive technical services and biological process support. In addition, the MT Group offers innovative gas processing and feed technology for natural gas upgrading through MT-Biomethan GmbH. The international expansion started in 2006. In 2007 MT-Energie founded the first branches in various European countries. Today, the company is active in diverse European markets and in the USA and Canada.   

MT-Energie completed the 2010 financial year with success. The total revenue increased considerably to 136.8 million Euros. This signifies an increase of 71 percent compared to the previous year. The profit before interest and tax (EBIT) has also developed positively and currently amounts to 10.6 million Euros (previous year: 3.3 million Euros). In 2010, MT-Energie realized a total of 110 biogas projects.

Considering the full order books, the forecast for the 2011 financial year looks very promising. The plan is to realize up to 150 biogas projects and to increase the profit—with further improvement of the EBIT margin—to approximately 180 million Euros. The order balance was 230 million Euros as of 12/31/2010.

In order to keep up this positive growth, the company has build new headquarters in Zeven, in Lower Saxony. An office building is quickly growing on a large 15 acre compound next to a modern logistics center, production facility and laboratory building.
