Functional description

MT foil coverings with integrated gas collector are used for gas-tight covering of open-top circular collectors.

The open collector is sealed gas-tight with two cone-shaped foils and a special clamp rail.

An externally filled radial compressor produces a slight excess pressure of approximately 1.5 mbar between the cone-shaped foils. This overpressure is transferred via the container and so creates the pressure in the biogas system at the same time.

Through the foil design a cone-shaped dome is formed. The room created below this air-supported cone serves as weather protection for the foil membrane, but can rise and sink according to biogas production and consumption.

The gas level can be easily read off an externally fitted level indicator.
