The energetic premium biogas can be converted into electricity and heat with the help of block-type thermal power plants. The so produced electricity can be induced into the public power supply system or can be used for the producer´s own facilities. The accumulated heat can be used to heat stables, living quarters, industrial- and business enterprises as well as other buildings.
With growing electricity costs more and more biogas will find itself being used in central-heating boilers.
Renewable starter substrates such as corn and rye, as well as manure and liquid manure qualify for the production of biogas.
