MT-Energie GmbH is one of the leading producers of complete biogas plants of all sizes as well as special components. The company is located in Zeven, Northern Germany. With the know-how that comes from many years of experience, we are able to offer our clients systems which are both economic to run and highly efficient.

Our portfolio does not only include the development, planning and construction of biogas plants, but also close technical and biological support. MT-Biomethan GmbH is a company of the MT Group and offers our clients innovative gas processing and feeding technology for biomethane production. In 2006 we started our expansion abroad and in 2007 MT-Energie opened its first offices in other European countries. Today the company is active in several European markets as well as in the US.

In 2010, MT-Energie had a successful financial year. The company’s turnover significantly increased to EUR 136.8 million. This is an increase of 71 percent compared to the previous year. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) have also developed extremely positively and are currently at EUR 10.6 million (previous year EUR 3.3m). In 2010 MT-Energie realised a total of 110 biogas projects.

Based on our filled order books, our outlook on the 2011 financial year is very positive. We plan to realise up to 150 biogas projects this year and to increase our turnover to approx. EUR 180m while continuously improving our margin. On 31/12/2010 our booked orders were at EUR 230m.
